From Agent to Owner
During her initial 10 years of real estate Janis Morgan dreamed one day of owning her own real estate brokerage. In 1998, her dream was realized when she and four other top-producing San Antonio REALTORS broke off from their respective brokers and founded KellerWilliams Legacy Group.
The driving concept of Legacy Group was to create a Keller Williams office that not only embraced the culture of Keller Williams but also held to a policy of recruiting only agents with prior real estate experience. Those recruited were high in professional ethics with reputations that exceeded industry standards.
Today, Keller Williams Legacy Group houses over 200 active real estate agents. Building a legacy
In 2004, Janis and three of her partners completed a newly constructed 17,000 sq ft office building in North Central San Antonio. Right after the purchase of the building site, Methodist Hospital Systems announced the starting of construction of its new forty-acre-hospital campus to be located across the street from Legacy’s new location. This medical campus will service all of North Central San Antonio.

Janis has lived in San Antonio all her life. She and her husband of 36 years have two daughters, Beth and Kerri, a grandson Ben and two grand-daughters, Ava and Mila. Janis loves to sing and tap dance and has belonged to many civic organizations. She is a graduate of The University of Texas in Austin, Texas.
